YOU’RE IN THE DANGER ZONE.
Rocky Mountain Danger Kitty — Puma concolor
Also known as the mountain lion, cougar, puma, catamount, and “what was that moving in the trees behind me!?”
There are plenty of Danger Kitties in this world, but this one is ours. And it is not the kind you call over with pspspsps.
A mature Rocky Mountain Danger Kitty can stretch close to 8 feet from nose to tail and, in exceptional cases, tip the scales at well over 150 pounds. In other words, this is one big fluffin’ kitty — equipped with razor-claws, dagger-teeth, approximately zero respect for your personal space, and considerably better night vision than you.
The troubling part? It probably knew you were there before you knew it was. It’s quiet. It’s patient. It’s watching.
Basically Santa Claus — except instead of checking whether you’ve been naughty or nice, it’s calculating whether it can drag you uphill.
Mountain lions are ambush predators, which means if one happens to be following you through the woods, there’s a reasonably good chance it isn’t admiring your outfit. And once a Danger Kitty scores dinner, it may stash the leftovers beneath leaves, sticks, dirt, or brush so it can return later for a little snicky-snack.
Efficient? Yes.
Adorable? From several hundred yards away, yes.
We strongly discourage attempting to pet one, shake paws, scratch behind the ears, or determine whether it is, in fact, just a big kitty.
It is. That is precisely the problem.
The Rocky Mountain Danger Kitty shirt is made for hunters, mountain-country wanderers, apex-predator enthusiasts, and anyone who enjoys the outdoors while maintaining a healthy appreciation for the fact that occasionally...the outdoors enjoys you back.
Stay alert. Stay fluffy. Respect the Danger Kitty
Fits true to size.
